Jim Caffrey, Democratic Candidate for State Representative in Illinois District 47, reports continued enthusiasm for his campaign, based on an outpouring of financial support in the most recent quarter. Third-quarter donations totaled $53,515 from 191 donors, with three-quarters of them located within the confines of District 47. The campaign has raised $123,000 since his run began in the fall of 2017.
“Our message resonates with voters, born out by the strong financial support we continue to experience,” said Caffrey. The campaign platform emphasizes restoring faith in state government and setting the state on a more solid financial footing.
In addition to solid fund-raising numbers, the campaign recently announced the opening of a campaign office at 538 W. St. Charles Ave., Elmhurst.

The 47th District runs along the eastern portion of DuPage County and includes all or some portions of Elmhurst, Oak Brook, Oakbrook Terrace, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Westmont, and Downers Grove. It also includes a small portion of Western Springs in Cook County.
